Delaney is the Therapy Assistant team member here at The Whole Child.
Delaney has spent 10 years working in Early Childhood Education and then went on to embark on her own journey of parenthood. She has two beautiful little boys of her own, who are a big part of why she chose to study in this field.
Delaney wanted to explore how she could further support her own children which sparked an interest in Allied Health, in particular Occupational Therapy assisting. After a wonderful experience engaging in some hands-on practical placement here at the whole child, she soon became a team member.
Outside of the clinic, you can find Delaney and her family on their farm, riding on the tractors or checking on the produce. She also enjoys spending time outdoors, swimming and cooking with her children and playing a good board game. ‘My favourite things to do with clients are play a fun board game or card game and spend time outdoors in in the fresh air. I find these really simple ways of getting to know someone and a great tool in establishing a relationship.’
